Software maintenance and development retainer
Your systems keep running and improve every week, on prepaid hours with a weekly report.
Do you have a system running today that needs fixes and maintenance, with no continuous roadmap?

Choose your package size
Three prepaid packages. The difference is the monthly workload, not the level of service.
Built forOccasional fixes and changes
Built forOngoing changes and integrations
Built forContinuous maintenance and development
We send you the invoice; once paid, we activate your package and send you a weekly report of consumed and remaining hours.
What the package includes
A mid-level full-stack engineer
Working on your live system: fixes, changes, and integrations.
A written estimate before any task starts
You know what each task costs in hours before we begin.
A weekly report of hours consumed and remaining
It reaches you every week, so you know where your package stands.
Deploy and release of the changes
A change is not done until it is running for your users.
What the package does not include
These limits are deliberate. Hours is a maintenance and continuous development service, not a team.
- Building a new product from scratch
- A UI/UX design system or dedicated QA cycles
- Senior engineer, tech lead, or architect time
- Owning a roadmap or product planning
Need any of the above? That is a Squad, not Hours.
See Kader SquadsHow working in hours works
Written here before you pay, not after.
Minimum 20 hours
The smallest package we can start with.
Paid upfront
The package is paid in full before work starts.
60-day validity
Hours are valid for 60 days from activation, and whatever is not consumed within that window expires.
An estimate before we start
Every task reaches you as a written estimate in hours before we begin.
Your approval before we exceed an estimate
We never exceed an agreed estimate by a single hour without your approval.
Urgent work at 1.25x
Urgent means a same-business-day start. It does not cover after-hours or weekend work.
Frequently asked questions
How do I start an hours package?+
We agree on the package that fits your workload, then we send you the invoice; once paid, we activate your package and send you a weekly report of consumed and remaining hours.
What happens to hours I do not use?+
Every package is valid for 60 days from activation. Hours not consumed within that window expire, and you can renew the package at any time.
How is a task estimated before it starts?+
Before any task starts we send you a written estimate in hours, and we do not begin without your approval. If the task turns out to need more than the estimate, we stop and come back for a new approval before consuming a single extra hour.
When are Hours the wrong choice?+
If you have a continuous roadmap, or you need a UI/UX design system, dedicated QA cycles, or senior engineer or tech lead time, you need a Squad and not Hours. In that case start from the Kader Squads page.
